Many thanks to Kathy Levac for her extended service as steering chair. Her leadership responsibilities have been passed to Dorian James as he graduates from chair elect to Chair of Steering in 2008. 

Congratulations to Michelle Mercure, who was elected to the chair elect position.

Many thanks also to Kathy Polacheck for serving as steering secretary and recorder during the last year and congratulations to Kai Immler who was elected to continue in that important position.

Member Recognition 2007

Fight Asthma Milwaukee Allies leadership wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to all coalition members. Our work is only possible through the community commitment and volunteerism of our members. Every contribution to the mission of FAM Allies is appreciated.

In 2007, FAM tried to capture member contributions by tallying time donated to both coalition meetings and activities. Although we realize the database system is not perfect, recognition based on that system was initiated at the November Full Coalition Meeting. 

• Members that contributed 1,500 minutes (25 hours) to meetings and activities during 2007 were awarded Gold Level service recognition certificates.
• Members that contributed 1,000 to 1,499 minutes (16-24 hours) to meetings and activities during 2007 were awarded Silver Level service recognition certificates.
• Members that contributed 500 to 999 minutes (8-15 hours) to meetings and activities during 2007 were awarded Bronze Level service recognition certificates.
